Baby

These original collages (not prints) are made by Simone Viljoen. They are made of carefully cut out illustrations which are considerately placed on upcycled paper. All of the illustrations are from old gardening books and old field guides found in second hand stores, collecting dust. The illustrators of these beautiful botanicals have passed away, but Simone has arranged their work in a way to make them rebloom for all to see. Hours have gone into slowly and neatly following the delicate outlines with a patient pair of scissors.
