I was fortunate enough to start my apprenticeship at the age of 16 – by 18 I started tattooing, I learnt from some great artists, including Skippy, Nathan & George.

I have always had a soft spot for realism but as I grew older my interests started getting more alternative and conceptual. If it moves you, it is art, no matter what style.

I just want to create unique artworks that resonates with whoever looks at them. My main passion aside from being a good artist is teaching good artists to be great and giving them a platform to grow and get recognised – hence the founding of Ferryman Collections.

Morné started tattooing over two years ago from the age of 19. He enjoys experimenting with all different mediums and styles, but ultimately his passion is for black and grey realism tattoos and illustrative tattoos.

Morné is a focused and detailed artist when it comes to design and application. His pursuit as an artist is to grow and improve his skills as both a tattoo and visual artist.
